Well that is a hard one if you don't dare talk to him yet. At least maybe try and be at the same places as him. See if he makes any eye contact. If he doesn't try to get to know him some how. Kind of impossible without talking to him though. Maybe find a friend of yours who is friends with him or one of his friends and maybe try hanging out or at least be at the same place as each other so you can see what happens.
