There are a couple of reasons why your boyfriend might be yelling at you:
Guys who shout at their girlfriends generally aren't worth sticking around for. Even if you're having an argument, there are better ways to get your anger and frustration across than to shout and scream.
If a guy is yelling at you, and you feel as if it's unprovoked, then it might be time to ask yourself why you're still with him.
No-one should have to put up with being mistreated and shouted at, and the longer you put up with him acting this way, the worse things are going to get.
In my opinion, he's either unaware of what he's doing (in which case you should find a way to make him aware) or he's acting like this because he enjoys the power trip (which is completely unacceptable).
Either way, you need to address this situation before it gets worse. If you let him get away with being verbally aggressive to you, it's only a matter of time before he starts getting physically violent too!
- He has problems controlling his anger or emotions
- He is deliberately acting in an aggressive manner to make you feel threatened
- He thinks that you can't hear him
