Most of us go through this, Dusti.
Not to worry. I can tell by your question, that you are thinking of your future and that shows wisdom in your thought process.
Have faith in yourself, take each day as it comes and make the most out of it that you can. Once that day is gone, you can never return to it. You will have opportunities and decisions to make during the coarse of your life.
The best advice I have to offer you is this; If you can get up every morning and be happy with the person you are, having no guilt or regrets to carry upon your shoulders, then you will have accomplished something in your life.
Material things will be of little importance when you are old. Family, friends and the way you treat other human beings will be your mark upon the world.
Most people won't remember what you accomplished during your life, but rather what kind of person you are and how you made them feel.
Your purpose in life will be revealed to you through each passing day.
Take the time to enjoy life. Love much and laugh often.

Dusti, people ask that question at a certain time in their life.  My suggestion comes in two parts (1)make a list of what you want to be, want to do in the next 5 years. Write freely. Just day dream as if it will happen. (2) in the coming days, pursue what is on the list.  You will see the direction life will take you.

As our guest speaker said, "I am more interested in you exercising your gift than finding your place at this time".  She was referring to a biblical character called Joseph.  He was sold by his brothers to the Egyptians.  Was later jailed because the pharoah's wife falsely accused him of attempting to rape her. How low can he get? Where can he go? While in prison, he interpreted the dreams of others. His gift reached the king and he was summoned. He saved his land from famine.

Some people study to be lawyers, but succeeds as an actor.  My advice to you is to have courage to start somewhere to get somewhere.  I hope this helps.  Good luck.

Almost everyone goes through this in life at one time or another. I think that you probably should sit down with a good friend or family member and discuss your feelings with them. You will know your true vocation and it will become clear to you. Be yourself and do not berate yourself for any faults you may think you have.Try to focus on learning and you should do fine in life!
