I'm afraid its all about genetics. As a species its coded into the male and female genes to propagate the species. Add into that the male hormone testosterone and checking out the opposite sex is done almost on a subconscious level.

Padraig is right, it is quite automatic to propagate the species, but it can be denied with the use of self control. 'Checking out' isn't always a sexual thing, that can often be another human function, which is to visually receive the sight of another and make an immediate presumption about who thy are as a person (the average person makes an assesment of another person in less than thirty seconds - automatically) A lot of men glance at female bodies when they pass out of habit, or because they have not been taught any other way, or they don't see anything wrong with doing so. Most males in sturdy relationships wouldn't glance at female bodies when they walk by, and ideally see males and females equally. I glance at male bodies as they pass, but also female bodies, and it's nothign to do with attraction, I mainly liek to see what people are wearing, how they carrytheir own bodies (the way someone walks says a lot about a personality), so maybe some guys simply do the same.

Hmmm... Well, it is an extremely powerful part of a man's instincts to look at a woman's body, including her curves, breasts, legs, etc. However, add to that the fact that he JUST WANTS TO. If you saw a beautiful sunset you would want to look at it, simply because it is pleasing. If you saw Bambi or a little puppie, you would enjoy looking at how cute it is. For a guy, the way women look is very pleasing. So a man also just plain WANTS to look at what is beautiful and pleasing to the eye. But let me give a little tough love /harsh reality here, to keep you sane in the long run: If a woman is going to live in the world without it driving her crazy, there is one thing she needs to get straight. Light bounces off of objects, like your body, and bounces around and is visible to anyone with eyes. A guy has as much right to do anything he wants with his eyes as you have a right do what you want with your body. A guy has a right to look anywhere he wants -- at least in a public place. In other words, DON'T PUT SO MUCH MEANING INTO IT. The problem is not that a guy looks in you direction but that you are ADDING TO IT ALL KINDS OF MEANING. Women may get upset because they are wondering (a) WHY is he looking at me? WHO CARES? Ignore it. Don't make such a big deal out of it, and it won't be such a big deal. (b) The real issue is not the looking but your expectation that the man is going to follow up by talking to you or something else. But realize that THAT is the issue... Not the fact that he is looking.

It is in their nature to see the girls but It is unethical to glance at the girls and to see their bodies. When your sister will be glanced like that then you don't like this but you like to glance others. That is totally unfair.

Not all men do such actions but only who are not serious about the girls and want to flirt with them and use them for their pleasure.

Not every man does that...its the look and not the man...some guys look at you cux they like you and some like your figure...they are gonna be accountable for their own intentions...but you should be clear and don't give a dam about the guy looking at you...

Men do that because they are doing what guys do. It's not that they mean to, it's just that women have breasts and cute butts. They can't help it! Men are just sex animals waiting for their prey to pounce on.
