Catcalling (whistling at an attractive woman) is a disgusting practice. It is a form of objectifying a woman since the man is only interested in her body or a part of her body. It is not treating her with the same respect they would treat a man if he was walking by. It is not a compliment and many woman considering it a harassing behavior.
Men are perfectly capable of controlling their urges--just as woman are. You do not hear woman catcalling men they find attractive. Anything else is just an empty excuse to treat a woman like she is not a whole person worthy of respect like any other human being.
