If you do not love her, let her go. It is not fair to yourself, or to her, to keep pretending to care for her. Tell her that you have grown apart and that you feel it is time for you each to date someone else. Tell her that you are sorry if she is hurt, but that you feel it better to be honest than to keep up a pretense of loving her. Tell her that you respect her more than to take take advantage of her by leading her on. Do not, start telling her all that you find wrong with her. This announcement will be shock enough for her. Allow her the dignity of believing it is not a failing of her character. Tell her that you will carry her memory with you always, but that those memories will be one of friendship and not love. And please, once you have made this declaration, do not try to influence her life any further. Let the girl go on to find someone else that may have feelings of love and loyalty to her and you do the same. Good Luck!
