Way back when a wife was considered the "Property" of the man (husband or master) she had to obey what was told her or she would be severely punished up to and including death. Often the husband would loan a wife to a friend visiting in the home. When the friend left the wife was returned to the husband along with any children born as they were the property of the master. Often the master had several wives or even concubines. The wife considered it an honour to be chosen to provide sexual enjoyment of the friend of her husband. This was not considered adultery. A Biblical reference to this is in Exodus 21:4.

Today, a woman (wife) is not considered the property of the husband. Often today in strong marriages the husband and wife are non-monogamous and the husband "shares" his wife with other men friends. This can be done in several different ways including polyamory and swinging. Sometimes a husband does it the old fashion way and loans or shares his wife. Again this is not adultery.

You are a lier! Do not quote the Bible if you have no clue what you are talking about. We just finished Exodus in Bible study. Our pastor has a PHD from Harvard in Theology. Do not try and BS someone who really knows the Bible.

OH and I am not sure that either of you know the Bible or that you just know church laws and doctrines. There is a big difference and so who is trying to BS whom here.

Dickie Allen is a liar! About the only thing he said that is true is that today the wife is not considered the property of the husband. What Exodus really says is a man servant must go free after seven years of service with no compensation to the Master. If the man servant came with a wife and children they must go free too. If the Master purchases a wife for the servant and she bears him children. The wife and children must remain with the Master. Poligamy is illegal in America. As far as swingers go. That is between them and God. Having sex with another person you are not married to is considered Adultry in the Bible.

I am glad you were quoting other sources. For a minute i thought you were quoting the Bible. Since i know how to read i was able to read the Bible for myself. It holds ALL the water i need. If you like sharing your wife that is yours and her business.

I do hope you go to and read the information I have given you here and also on some of your other comments you have tried to lambast me. You need to have your eyes opened to the truth of God's beautiful book the Bible and not to church doctrine and law you would understand so much more.

I think she shouldn't, because she's a person and has the right to do whatever she wants if she's not like, hurting someone else. I don't think you can "own" a person and that you can force someone to do things like that.
