This I can tell you from a guys perspective. Well if your guy isn't a womanizer and doesnt go girl to girl on a regular basis now or in the past then he most likely has an objective. He wants to see if you are into him, quite possible he wants to know that you'll "fight" to keep him. If he's talking to another girl and you come hug his arm and say "hi sweetie" then that lets him know that he's wanted by you. Now this is also a slippery slope. If he does this on a fairly frequent basis then this maybe a troublesome sign or if he starts to ignore you completely then it's time to have a talk with him. In my opinion slight jealousy is a good thing now and then but don't make it a daily habit cause that can result in a sudden halt to the relationship.
