Basically all you really need to do is to be yourself and to make a friendship at first once. Then see what he likes in a girl and if you really like him thne just try and be a bit more like his dream girl ok , but I am definitly not saying change your self for a boy , none of them are that worth it.....also take baths&showers everyday and make yourself look cute.

Don't be slow like a snail either... 7 be friendly and respectful to his parents. If his parents don't like you, It's all over

Well what your going to have to find out if the boy you like likes you back and you have to send him signals like when you see him in the hallway give him a a little smile and then turn away also you have to hang out wit him so that then maybe people think your going out and probably if he kinda laughs when he denies it then he probably likes you and tell one of your friends to go see one of his best friends to see if he really likes you and if he does his friend might tell him to ask you out so there you go
I have the same problem as you, I have asked all of my friends that have boyfriends and they said to be urself with them, laugh at their jokes even if they r not funny, umm... B nice, sweet, OHHH and listen to them, don't just pretend to listen, apparently it works

I'm in 6th grade you do not want a boy friend been there done that! You loose complete focus and your going to be miserable when you loose I'm if you ever truly loved him! But, If you still want one just get to know him on a friendship level first. I'm 11and some of my friends have boyfriends and they have become unfocused in school work and are falling out with friends because of it. Trust me you don't want a boyfriend in 6th grade. Sorry but there is no need to even be worrying about boyfriends in the 6th grade that is not important. What is important is learning as much as you can, making friends, and getting into some type of hobby. Believe me boys will always be there no matter what age you are so just wait.
