There's nothing inherently wrong in dry humping your boyfriend, and it's certainly safer than having full-on sex.

However, there's always the danger that things get 'hot and heavy' pretty quickly, and before you know it you're undressing each other passionately and having penetrative intercourse behind the bleachers of your school gym.

Should you dry hump your boyfriend?
Dry humping is a form of 'frottage' - a consensual rubbing, that doesn't require penetration to cause sexual stimulation, arousal, and even orgasm.

In my opinion, any sort of sexual activity can be harmful or dangerous if you're not ready for it. So, rather than focusing on exactly what kind of sex act you should and shouldn't be engaging in - perhaps it would make more sense to question whether you're ready to do anything sexual at all...

Although dry humping doesn't come with all the risks associated with full penetrative sex (such as STD's and pregnancy), there are several other factors you may want to consider:

  • One thing leads to another. What might start as dry humping can quickly escalate to more 'serious' sexual activity.
  • Relationships are complicated. If you want to avoid heartache, I'd recommend you carefully consider who you dry hump with.
  • Social factors might also come into play. In certain communities and countries, any sort of sexual contact between a girl and a boy is frowned upon.
If you've contemplated the above risks and still feel that dry humping is something you want to do with your high-school boyfriend, then all I can say is 'happy humping!'.

Yes, I assume it's okay. As long as all his and your clothes are completely on, it's fine. Have fun!

It's best not to, because you're so young and it could develop a bad habit in the future.
