You already disappointed them twice; first by the age gap second by lying. You need to learn some respect!
So my boyfriend is 22 and im 16, the age of consent here where i live is 16. When i first met my boyfriends parents i lied about my age by 4 years, i dont think his parents will be accepting of the age gap but i hate lying?
Not sure why a 22 year old is interested in a 16 year old. I'm sure they're wondering about that too. Lying to them just gives them more reason to believe that you're too immature and their son needs to find someone more his age.
