I was very drunk last night. My mum came through at night and said we will be having a chat in the morning, I asked why and she said because I've been drinking. What can I say?

Well first of all it depends on your age if you were of a legal age to drink then say this. Also do you live with her, if you didn't live with her and you were legally old enough to drink then tell her this as it is your own life. But if you were legally old enough yet you lived with your mum you will have to understand that she may not want you coming home late every night being really rowdy because you are drunk. If however, you are not old enough to drink tell her why you drank. She may be okay with you drinking but maybe not too much.

Hope I helped. Xx

Irregardless as to your age - IF you are living with someone else and they pay the bills it is Your responsibility to follow rules and be courteous. If you are breaking rules, not being courteous it is a sign of immaturity. Immature people have no business drinking - someone WILL be hurt. My advice is to tell your Mother that you showed lack of respect and acted immaturely. Showing and receiving Respect and being a mature person are things you value enough to not pull a stunt like that again

When she says .. 'we need to chat' especially when it pertains to your behaviour .. There IS nothing to "say" as THIS is the time to listen .. Not talk.

You need to listen to your parents. Second, I suggest you look at the big picture: a lot of young people die in car crashes do to DUI. People care for you. Care for yourself
