Have You Ever Been On A Blind Date? If So, How Was It? Would You Do It Again? Please Share Your Stories On Blind Dating?

I have been on blind dates. And they were okay. I would do it again but I prefer to meet people in a group setting--if a friend says they have the perfect guy for me then I say great, let's ALL go out to dinner together. It can be really uncomfortable going on a blind date and not only finding out you have nothing in common but don't like each other at all. My best friend went on a blind date and the guy took her to a Hooters restaurant. And then stared at the waitresses the whole time. She excused herself to go to the bathroom and left.

I have had several blind dates.  All were disasters!  One guy told me he had brushed his teeth with preparation H.  Ugh, now why would anyone repeat that they were that stupid.  One date had been told I was a real hot number and he was angry that I didn't put out.  Needless to say I was furious with the guy that set up that date.  What were you thinking dude?  Then there was the psychiatrist!  There is not enough space to recant all the crazy things that guy said to me during the course of the evening.  He was the most insecure man I ever met and the  most twisted.

I've been on a blind date ones but I didn't want to do it because I've never had to do it, I just did it to get rid of my nagging parents.  I won't do it again but I'm also not sorry about the first one because I end up marring the guy and we were very happy for 18 years.

Never been on one, been with my husband since I was 15, we have been together for over 27 years now.
