I think you should tell them that it is very helpful for school, ( which it is) and show them ways that they could use it too like for navigation, weather, stocks etc. Say you can send emails to teachers or friends. I know you probably can't get a job because you are too young. Try to get good grades and show them your test scores (only the good ones). The way I got it is by using my own money to buy it. I recently had a sprint family plan for 2 years. My dad pays about 200 for 4 phones a month. I got money by saving up from my birthday, allowance etc. Then I told my parents I will pay for all of it (200$) my mom was cool with it but my dad really hates new technology because he thinks its too confusing for him. I am very good with phones so I told him that I always learn how to use my phone the first day and I will teach him. He still said no. Then I emailed him a video of the iphone 3g guided tour while at home and he was at work. Half an hour later, he called me back and said sorry I didnt let you get the phone. The video you just sent me changed a lot of my thought. You know what, its so amazing that tomorrow, we will cancel our contract and move to at&t to get the iphone for everyone. THE TRICK IS TO JUST SHOW THEM THE GUIDED TOUR ON YOUTUBE! IT REALLY CHANGES A LOT! GOOD LUCK!

Tell them about the calculator on it to help you with homework and the weather app on it to tell you the weather faster than the news channel. Then tell them about how you can get it for like half the price online NOT BROKEN.

Really?! At your age you shouldn't have a reason to expect a phone! What's wrong with the home phone or whatever your family has. You can talk to people on any phone, not just an Iphone.

I think it's absolutely insane to give a kid younger than 16-18 a cell phone...let alone an IPhone! Why do you NEED the IPhone so bad? Do you realize how much they cost? Do you realize how much your parents would sacrifice to get one?

You should be thankful as hell if they got you a $10 prepaid phone from Walmart! I am a stay at home mom to two disabled kids. Im working on a home business after losing all my savings in order to help my kids. Do you think my parents should buy me a phone or Iphone? NOPE! That is MY responsibility, not theirs. If you want a phone for the sole purpose of having one, buy a prepaid phone like I did and use their service. If you're looking for all the 'perks' of an IPhine, then that is being selfish and overboard.

Be really good for like ages or you could save up!!! Any coppers, put them in a jar or eve a wine bottle, then you will save up and have the money in no time! No coppers, no problem. If youre in the shop and you want some sweets and you have a fiver, don't spend the whole lot, just maybe 50p, then thats £4.50 already!!! See what I mean. Its easy. Trust me it took me 2 months to save up for an ipod touch using coppesr and fives!!!
