I think the teenagers of today have a more stressful life. The information age is better for finding things out, like instant library at your hands, but at the same time there is way to much information that is negative available and it causes stress. Each successive generation has to deal with things different from the previous one, and that it is tougher is relative. My generation had the threat of nuclear war and this generation has terrorism. Drugs, gangs,911, the economy, internet everything is very different from my peers. Though my parents dealt with world wars, famine, the depression, all you can do is try your best to change the world to be a better place.
Yes, teenagers today have a tougher and happier life which their parents create for them, while they also have a more intense life than their parents.
I think in many ways yes. I'm only 25 and very happy I dodged this time where any mistake you make can be taped and posted on the internet for all to see. I also am happy to have seen a world before widespread cell phone use. A time when you could miss a call because you weren't home... So simple they were LOL
