Weird question, huh? Well, I have a weird answer... My advice IS to give up! Perhaps you are trying too hard. Desperation is not an attractive quality and can usually be spotted by potential suitors. Concentrate on bettering yourself and be independent. Love will definitely find you and oftentimes comes when you're not looking. 💜
Oh no! Never give up! Actually, it just happens...and in the strangest of ways, nothing like you'd ever expect. You'll find each other, might take awhile, but you will....can't keep from it actually.
Lower any expectations of perfections, and embrace the concept of acceptance in the same way you would want to be accepted, then STOP searching, and just take in the world around you.
We get so caught up in that Search, that those things (people) that are right in front of you often get "Over Looked".
Soul Mate - Denotes some outside force that has preordained and predestined two people to be together . . . Let the natural situations and circumstances arise that will help you to find someone compatible . . . Forget the whole "Soul" part . . .
Once again a questions references what at first seems to be
a known concept, but for which I find very interesting links on the internet.
My answer was going to be an offhand comment that in a good
marriage you actually become soulmates.
And that was based on the fact that a soulmate that you find, may or may
not become---or worse, may not continue to be---your soulmate if you marry.
I will leave the above paragraph as my answer. In my case my wife has in fact become over
the years, my soulmate. I cannot in
retrospect think that it could have happened any other way.
And here’s what I found on the internet:
“Soul Mate: Someone who is aligned with your soul and is sent
to challenge, awaken and stir different parts of you in order for your soul to
transcend to a higher level of consciousness and awareness.
Once the lesson has been learnt, physical
separation usually occurs.
Life Partner: A companion, a friend, a stable and secure
individual who you can lean on, trust and depend on to help you through life.
There is a mutual feeling of love and respect and you are both in sync with each
other’s needs and wants.”

Some would say you have to love yourself before,
someone can love you back. Enjoy your life.
