I'm 14 and dating a 23 year old. I've known him for about a year and a half now but we haven't met in person. So is this weird or wrong?

Not really weird as it is wrong. This does happen because the younger one is- to have an adult take a liking to you makes that younger person feel all grown up and macho.

The one problem here is why can't this 23 year old find someone in his own age group?  Unfortunately this raises all sorts of red flags in that this guy may be a Pedophile who prays on young kids so - as youre still young and naive, please be careful and do NOT be in a hurry to meet this guy at all and find someone your own age . Good luck

Yes, it's wrong. Even though you have never met, there's something innately wrong with a 23 year old "dating" a 14 year old. Once you are 18, you can talk, date, whatever with someone of any older age of your choosing. Ask your parents if there's something wrong with it!

Just remember, it's your decision on who you date. I would suggest that you should enjoy life. Don't try to grow up too fast. This should be something you worries about many years later, not now. Just know that the choices you make it'll have its own consequences. Good luck.

I agree those ages are wrong & illegal. If you tell a person to change, they're not going to change due to the fact that you asked them to. They'll have to change & stop by them self. Even if law takes action, it won't stop underage teen to dating someone 18+

He's a pedophile and would rape you if you ever met in person.
