First of all , try looking him up on Facebook and other social media he might be on. If you do know where he lives, find out as much as you can about that place. I know it sounds old style, but you said you knew his name so look him up in the phone book. If you know anything about him, you might know where to search. If you find if he has a job that's a good start.
