A step parent has no blood ties to the step child. As long as both people are of legal age, and not married to anyone else, I see no reason why it would not be legal in all 50 states. I would like to know the story behind this question though!
Hi, it depends on how old the parties are. I am sure some of the family will not like it, but it is up to the two people who want to get married. Also, you should look at the fact, that a parent is going to be hurt. It is more people in the world, please find someone else.
The Bible says No. But if they are divorced or one of the parents has passed away then if the step child is of legal age the legal answer is yes. If you do this though be prepared to take a lot of flack from everyone. Her family. Your family. Friends, etc..
Since neither party is actually related other than by law and if they are both consenting adults of age of course its legal. But then there is the moral and integrity part of this.I can't imagine any child wanting to marry their fathers or mothers ex husband or wife.Niether can I imagine a parent wanting to marry their child's ex my God especially if there are children involved. It would take a very selfish or heartless person to do something like this, not to mention family and all that would get hurt over this.I could never see myself wanting to hurt one of my children or one of my parents like this. And not to mention what holidays would be like and most important my conscience how would I be able to sleep at night.I'm sorry this is probably not what you want to hear but please just look at the big picture.
I guess there is no law to this but of all the people in the world - my big question is WHY?
If this happen, people will judge especially if there's small ones involve. Although, some people would understand some reasons like health insurance or other bizzare reasoning.
About what state do this legally - this is the first time I heard of this, so you might want to surf. And I hope you get lucky. If nowadays, they could marry two same sexes, you know, everything is possible. Thank you for asking - I will be posted.
