Personally, I think just saying "Sweet dreams" is really cute. Or saying something like "Don't dream about me me too much" in a joking, flirty way (which eventually leads to "You can dream about me" and after that a guaranteed assumed you're both dreaming about each other kinda thing). Or say something about how you are going to dream about her! :) Super cute & sweet! Also flirty & great on texts! :)
I usually sit and hold her close to me and run my fingers through her hair and tell her how much she means to me and how amazing she is in every way until she does fall asleep and if I don't fall asleep after her, if I leave, I kiss her forehead and cover her up and tuck the blankets in over her. My girlfriend said twice now she has faked asleep just so I would do that so I guess it is cute lol try it and see =]
Tell her it was so nice to hear her voice and you look forward to the next time you can talk. Tell her to close her eyes and imagine that you are sending her a hug. That's not pushy! Just sweet!!

Whatever you say, it is sometimes cuter if you say it shy. Like "I love you honey," with your fore head lightly pressed against hers, then kiss her very softly.
How I would like to be said goodnight to if the guy called:him"I'm really glad that I called to talk to you. You mean a lot to me. I wish I could talk to you for longer, but I'll let you have some sweet dreams."then again, I'm into a little bit of the cornier lines, I just think its adorable. I guess it really depends on the girl, and what her personality is. But compliments are always good :) and always let her know that you care.if she called, basically the same thing, except"I'm really glad that you called me..."hope this helps!
