Do Women Actually Scream In Real Life?

I scream sometimes, but it's a different kind of screaming than what you describe.  The screaming women do in the movies, or in the kind of situations you describe seems to me to be fear-motivated.  When I scream, it is usually out of rage or frustration.  I guess it's really more of a temper tantrum.  
I will use this space to put in a good word for spiders.  I'm one of the people who thinks of spiders as our friends.  Spiders that I find in the house usually get a free ride outside.  Of course, they are not black widows.  I like and admire spiders, think they are quite elegant, actually.  Maybe this was due to having Charlotte's Web read to me at an impressionable age.

First let me say that I am a grown woman. And a Veteran of the US Army. I am not your typical girly girl. And I scream. Full on, make the hair on the back of your neck stand up, scream. And yeah, over spiders. Hate em. Hate em, hate em. And i do not ever (and I mean ever) watch scary movies. Gives me nightmares. And then i wake up screaming.
