I think because most people either don't understand it, or they immediately judge it as bad because it's not THEIR way, so of course it must be wrong. I think it's ridiculous to spew hate towards people. I know a lot of gay people, and the percentage of bad gay people isn't any higher than the percentage of straight people. 95% of pedophiles are straight men molesting young girls, but you don't hear people saying "Oh my god, those straights are just so deviant."
The reason most rational people are against queers and gays is because they don't like perverted sexuality to be forced upon them.....and do not want to agree that something as shameful and disgusting as that lifestyle should be accepted as normal. For thousands of years people have loved and respected people of the same sex....but that doesn't mean that a person should have sex with them....If you disagree...mankind was created with an "owner's manual" called the Holy Bible...consult it daily for guidance on how to live a normal life...(end of comment)
Some just don't like it while others have been brainwashed. Its funny when people who are clearly gay are against it especially when their on the religious side. In truth however you are all children of the most high (just not the bastard god(s) and you should all live in peace and end this mindless, childish, primitive bickering and squabbling and just live life. First people arent really against Homosexuality or gay movemnet per se until we get it rammed down out thraots and are forced to accept it, just like Obama did with Obamacare. People hate anything forced onto them they have no need for so if it stayed quiet people would be more likeley to just accept it without all the hoopla
In an odd perspective such as mine, I believe that a person has all right to love and hate whom ever they wish. People are so prejudiced because this is different to them. It may be a fact that they feel threatened by the differences of people who have a different sexual attraction. The same goes for any difference, skin colour, personality and even down to what you wear. I am not a religious person, but I do believe many things in Buddhism, such as there needs to be harmony in every soul, along with acceptance. I digress (slightly), but I want to make a point, dislike it as you may, I am going to say it: No where in the Bible does it say that people should not love anyone of the same sex (or gender depending...). But the Bible does say that there should be love in the world. I don't care what others say, I openly accept anyone no matter what or who they are. I am going to point out that I am not homosexual. So my values may not be correct to someone who is. I apologize for anyone who may have been offended by my words (I don't see how they could) and I also apologize for the lengthy entry.
Homosexuality is common everywhere from every species of animals to humans. People who are afraid of homosexuality probably have had similiar thoughts and supress them as bad due to learned behavior, just like thinking that women are second to men, blacks are second to whites, ect..... Someday it will be looked on like, why did anyone ever care about that?
I think it was just learned over generations as wrong which is depressing and cultural change from this made many think it was abimonational thing, but its not wrong, seeing as most animals do it not just us, and for the pair thing think of 70 percent of the life on earth they are unisex or have both parts, in truth mammals and various other species in the genetic kingdom are actually the freaks hahahahaah lol
People are afraid of what they don't understand. Aids does not come from only homo...someone needs to check their research a little better. My question is how can you comment on something you have no interest or understanding.
