All the three forms of behaviour mentioned above is the result of frustration. Frustration happens when you expect something and what you aspire is either little or not according your standard of acceptance. So in order to vent out the frustration, or voice their displeasure, people either raise their voice by yelling or getting mad, or they simple ignore you or speak indifferently. The latter is a form of mean behaviour.
However getting mad, yelling or being means does not quite solve a problem. Well, it may do so temporarily but in the end, it does not prove to be productive. The one who is the object of ridicule or anger shuns relationship with the person who is angry. Slowly and surely, such a person will keep off from the angry person and back-bite about her, retaliate or even make plans to destroy her. Self-esteem is important for everybody and by yelling or getting angry, you are only disturbing a person's ego.
