Do people choose to be gay?

at the mall that I worked at it's movie theater,

I saw 2 gay couples holding hands with each other

I believe *children* may, for a variety of reasons of their own (which they may not even consciously realize).  Or rather, they choose to believe they are.  Gay, Bi, or whatever "orientation" is in style at the moment.

Being gay is not a choice. It's a feeling. It's too long to explain here but in short, you're a male and get attracted to females, that's because your brain orders your body and releases particular hormones which contains your emotions and body pulses that you feel within yourself as an instinct. Completely automatically out of your control. You feel what you feel. You can't force yourself to change it.

Now the same thing happens to a someone who's gay. They don't choose to be gay for fun. It's not a sickness, it's not a disorder, it's not abnormal. Their hormones releases for males instead of females. They get attracted to males instead of females. The same thing happens vise versa for a female.

I firmly suggest to educate yourself more about it, there are plenty of books and scientific valid explanations for it. Don't tie yourself with religious forces. Study, research, learn, know, then decide with open mind. Then your choices and ideas are worthy.

Any this is what the world must know? I know of 100's of questions more important than this one that people should be asking right now.

i dont understand being gay. U cannot reproduce and have kids being gay. My dad threw me playboy magazines when i was thirteen. A womens body is beautiful.

No. That's like asking a person if they chose to be human.

Why would anyone purposely choose that road for themselves? Gay members of our society are misunderstood, judged, vilified, disrespected, abandoned, hated, murdered. Why would ANYONE want to wake up and say, "Yeah, I REALLY want THAT!!"

Your sexuality isn't a choice ... It's how you're "wired".  The choice is whether you choose to tell people about it or not.

NO IT IS NOT A CHOICE! People do not get to choose what they are sexually aroused by or what they find attractive. No one has control over what they find attractive, they can only pretend to be attracted to something that they're not.
