It is a 2 year program. Can you stand on your feet all day? Can you help lift someone if they need it? If you answer yes to both of those questions, it would be a great education/career choice.
I'm 40 , do you think I should go into the radiography program or it will be too hard and take too long?
Never is too late, never is too old.
Too hard ? It is always hard! Success is hard but if this is something you really want nothing can stop you then, one by one each block will be out of your way cause you'll pass them and that has nothing to do with age, as long as you want something, no matter what are the numbers and sizes, you will get there.
Plus, you deserve to follow what you really enjoy doing! So never doubt, never waste time, go ahead and guide your life into a path you'd feel comfortable.
Long time ago there were a woman nearly in her 80's and she finished high school. I guess you can start your new chapter now.
In all honesty that field will be over saturated in the next 5 years ... It's my day job to know that so I do :) I would suggest anesthesiology if you're open to suggestion and interested in a medical field career that will be in high demand in the next3- 8 years. But I agree with Echoos you're never to old to learn ! You should look into what will be in demand though before you jump into anything.. Good luck :)
A rad tech is a great field to get into, another field you could take a look at is pharmacy tech, or lpn both of which are "trade school" good luck to you! I wish you much success!
