Is he mad at me or not? So the guy who likes me a lot (mutual feelings from me and we've been pretty friendly for the past 5 months or so) all of a sudden turned cold on me......... (the rest is below)

So first of all, we both attend a class called seminary in the mornings, and his family is thinking that he's only going to seminary because of me when if fact, he isn't going for me. He's going because he loves the things that he learns in that class. BUT... Because his family is putting so much pressure on him, he said he might not go to that class anymore. In addition to that, he didn't even look at me today (he usually is looking and smiling at me quite a bit during the class). He didn't even try to talk to me either. He avoided me.... I think (or at least hope) that he's trying to prove to his family (or whoever) that he ISN'T going to the class for me... But I think that he may be a little mad at me too (I have no idea what for). When I asked him "you're not mad at me, are you?" he said "yeah, no"..... :/
