If it didn't work out the first time, it probably won't work the second time. Forget him and look for someone else. Don't try forcing a relationship to work. If something is meant to be, it will work itself out.

Text him 'I miss you' wait for his reply. His reply will determine if he misses you too or not. If he misses you, your luck. If he doesn't, be independent

Unfortunately he may not want back here so no matter what you do will bring him back, so you may just have to move on and maybe on down the road he may come back on his own. This happens a lot and there is no way to make another feel the same way we do about them. Try just being friends with him and maybe oneday he may see the big picture here but at least by being friends, you leave the chance open. Good luck
