Definitely my intelligence any day just looks is not going to get you very far in this life
As much as I would like to be thought of as attractive, what I really pride myself on is my intellect. I figure any looks I have at this point are only going to diminish and if someone loves me they understand that and will be attracted to the core of my being opposed to my glossy lips and ultra firm what-have-you. They would appreciate it while I had it but their security comes in knowing that I have an understanding and logic to be a a good friend and support system. Love is as much in the mind as in the heart when it's true. I know I have always found intelligence to be much more of a turn on than good looks. (granted the latter doesn't hurt) It is important to be well kept and try to make yourself appear pleasant, but any intelligent person would understand that. :) Great question Penny!!
I would rather be complimented on my intellegence. After your looks have left you, you still have your intellegence, granted you do have an accident or something like that and have head trauma.
I'd rather be complimented on my intelligence. As we grow older beauty wanes.
Absolutely looks. I think I'm quite clever, but I have really low self-esteem, so if someone complimented me on my looks I would feel better about myself. I don't really care if people think I'm dumb, because I know that I'm not.
Tough question! Now i may want to be more intelligent, but 30 years later, I want my beauty back. It's just sad to get old... Time is a thing that you can do nothing about it... Sorry to be negative...
Both i think that's what i would think.
Both.
Great question. My intelligence has more meaning to me than physical looks. Of course I wouldn't pass up a wink from an attractive woman ;)
I feel I have both, and like it when people look at me that way, BUT I do get special tingles when people still commit on my looks at 60!
However I'm not looking, and I'm very heavy into my mind!

If I was intelligent I'd like to be complimented on my looks, since I'd know I was intelligent, and if I was good-looking I'd like to be complimented on my looks, since I wouldn't be intelligent enough to care if I was intelligent or not! Seriously though I think what we think of ourselves is more important, since this determines what we do and what we therefore become!
I would rather have both, but my preferring is intelligence, as it's important that we can change looks if we want to.
