A person can have a problem with another person without really knowing them. For example, you can look at a movie star and say.."you know, I don't like that person" and you never even met that person. That person just rubs you the wrong way. For some reason you may rub him the wrong way without even knowing what it is. He has the problem. I suggest you except his choice of not wanting to be in a friendship with you.
