In the traditional view of wedding the host should be always the bride's family. As a host they would invite all relatives and loving persons in the certain day of wedding. Groom's family or groom's father was not liable for that day at all. Bride's father or someone's name was written as the host in that time. But the time has been changed. Now-a-days any one who is very close to both of the family are becoming host. Here a short list is provided below with those relations who could be the host:

• Parents of the bride are traditionally the automatic choice as the host.
• The bride and groom are also could be the host of the wedding invitation.
• The wedding invitation could be hosted by bride, groom and both of the families jointly.
• It could be hosted by the both of bride's and groom's family.
• So far from traditional view now-a-days the wedding invitation is also hosted by the groom's family.
• In case of divorced parents, they could host the wedding invitation jointly or apart.
• In case of one parent's deceased the other one could be the host; he/she can give the deceased parent's name in the invitation as late (name of the deceased person).
• It is often seen that a good friend or relative is hosted the wedding ceremony from invitation to its entire affair.
• The divorced and remarried parents are also could be the host.
