Redneck gifts for men Considering you identify your man as a 'redneck', you could start by looking at gifts that rednecks are likely to enjoy.
According to the redneck stereotype, your man might be into:
  • Country music
  • Trucker caps
  • Wranglers
  • Alcohol
  • Cowboy hats
In my opinion, all of the above would be great gifts to give your boyfriend.

What to get my redneck boyfriend? If you're looking for specific suggestions, I've come up with a list of gifts that are a) very redneck, b) suitable for someone in his mid-20s, and c) representative of someone with a laid-back and easy going approach to life.

Baseball cap with built in bottle opener- We've all been there, sitting around in the hot sun knocking back a few 'brewskis' to cool down. You reach into the ice-cooler to pick out another bottle and then all of a sudden you realise you can't find the damn bottle opener! With this baseball cap/bottle opener, your man won't have this problem ever again!

Kid Rock CD- If your man doesn't already own them all, perhaps a Kid Rock CD might be the answer! My favorite is probably Devil Without A Cause, although Born Free or American Bad Ass are also pretty good.

Jack Daniel's Hip Flask and Lighter Set- Is something most men would be proud to own. This goes especially for a redneck man that enjoys his whisky. To make the gift extra special, you could even pre-fill the flask with his favorite rye, bourbon or sour mash so that it's ready to swig from. 'Jack Daniels Single Barrel' or 'Gentlman Jack' are seriously good sipping spirits, or if you're on a budget, something like Heaven Hill, Maker's Mark or Four Roses always goes down nicely.

To make the day even more special, why not show up with your man's gift wearing a confederate flag bikini top. That always makes a redneck birthday twice as fun!

Could you take him somewhere? There's probably somewhere he'd like to go - a sporting event or whatever - and you could arrange this, get the tickets and so on. Of course it might not be possible to surprise him if you choose something like this - for one thing you want to make sure you get the right event, and for that you might have to ask him - but many people would rather be given exactly what they want than be surprised anyway.

If you do want to surprise him, how about some music CD, DVD or something of that kind, that you know he wants but hasn't got. And you could add a few bottles or cans of whatever he likes to drink. Women have a tendency to buy their boyfriends clothes, watches and so on for their birthdays - it may be a bit of a generalisation, but I think most men would prefer a drink and a good night out.

Beef jerky, budweiser, gun mounds, amo, gift certificate to a gun shop, fishing license, country CD, belt buckle, cowboy boots or hat.... These are all things my hick man would dig. Hope it helps! I find these type of men much easier to shop for..

If I were you I would try to impress him with something he really likes or has wanted in the past few weeks. If he is into a certain kind of music I would get him a cd or a book. But you want to show him you love him and want to have a good relationship at the same time. I recommend inviting him out somewhere and talking and giving him a small sentimental gift
