You have so many things that you can get for him just in the sports area, there are clothing, memoribelia, like cups, hats, ash trays, all kinds of things like that. For biking, new gloves, or helmet, for hiking, how about a new fanny pack or back pack. Stuff like this. Hope this helps, good luck to you.

I think you can gives many things accord to your brother's interests which can surprise him, but if you are planning to give him some extra-ordinary, and if your brother is interested in riding,  you should choose a  mountain bike.

A pair of Ritchey Pro Z Max Premonition mountain bike tyres, or if he is into road racing get him a pair of Continetal Grand Prix 4000 tyres  ?

If they cost too much for you maybe  some track mits or MTB gloves ?
