I’m a freshman and I like a boy. Last year on the last day of school I sent my friend to tell him I liked him, which I then avoided him the rest of the day out of nervousness. What should I say when randomly messaging him out of the blue?

Yes I agree. You have remained hidden too much already. Its time to face your fears.

You don't.
If you can't talk to him in person, you shouldn't text him "out of the blue" ... Especially after being such a jerk last year.  (Yeah.  What you did was a jerk move.)

I agree but I don’t know where to start. I tried to get in contact with him through school emails and I gave him my number. He emailed back and said his phone was broken and he was getting a new one soon. That was mid summer. Now I see him with a brand new phone and he never called or texted. But yet again I can understand why. So what should I say. Keep in mind I am shy and get nervous.

I mean say face to face with him. Or what should I do in general?

Have you tried messaging him again first? Just say hi and ask him how he's doing.

Start with apologizing for ducking him because you were too nervous to speak up. If that doesn’t get a reply, you might look for another crush.

Any ideas on how I should word it. I don’t want to come off as too random and weird. (I want him to find that out on his own) ;)
