You need to do what you feel. This is your life and not theirs. Follow your heart, can't go wrong there.

I say go for it, follow your heart.
Saying I love you too young, is like getting married too young. It breeds ownership and rules. Keep him guessing, hearing those words will encourage his ego to change him to entitlement he shouldn't have at this time.
At that age I doubt both of you know what love is, so take it easy.
