Forget the cliques, make or keep a few close friends and forget the high school drama. In a year the cliques won't matter at all, but those few friends can last a lifetime.

That education is more important.

One or two friends are enough.

Form your own clique.

I'm actually confused as to how other teens can actually care so much about cliques. Especially if you're AWARE you're in clique. I'm proud to be independent. I go with whoever I want and don't have to be insecure to the point where I depend on other people, who clearly view me as disposable (they "dumped" you?)

Add on: you just need to be confident in your words and actions, and you will survive as an independent. However in a clique, you do as much as not "fit in", and the clique leaders will destroy your reputation.

Ask yourself, ‘Do I really want to fit in with the clique in the first place?’ A failure to fit in, while it may be painful, is far from fatal. Be content with knowing that if you really care about people, rather than being part of a clique, you’ll never have a shortage of friends.
