Great News. We have just found out we are expecting our second baby later this year. (Currently at week 14). Does anybody have any general advice on how different it will be with your second baby. Any tips? Pros and cons?

First of all CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! Awe!!!!!

Second of all each child is different just as each pregnancy will be different.

What works for one may not work for another.

You swear you love that one child so much that you couldn't possibly imagine there being any more love to squeeze out for a second child..... Till you do! Then same goes for the third, fourth, fifth, etc.

Hold dear to each precious moment because in the blink of an eye, they will be grown and you will wonder where the heck the time went!

Lol! We can all say that for ourselves. I STILL am saying that each day..... "I hope my parenting skills improve each day." ☺

Congrats Stu!

Much easier you won't be as scared! That first one you are so scared at everything but now you will know it's ok if they cry a little.

I've heard (and not experienced since I'm a guy), that the second one delivers easier if was natural child birth. So if you delivery with the first was fast, show up earlier to the hospital for the second.

Make sure to take your prenatal vitamins daily and increase your calcium . . . That little rider will be taxing your system again.

Wow that's wonderful news. Make sure that you take a lot of photos. Siblings always grow up wondering why the first kid had more baby photos taken.

Congratulations! That is great news. I have not had children of my own, but  can tell you that as the second child, you will be a more relaxed parent. By the time the second one comes you have figured out it is ok for the child to get dirty, and not eat a perfect diet at all times. These actually help the child build a better immune system and stronger digestive system. They don't need the best of everything because they outgrow it in a flash anyway.

Congratulations! I only have one child, so I'm not versed in this subject; however, I just wanted to congratulate you on this exciting adventure you will be on. How wonderful!
