My friend has been really rude to me recently, refuses to allow me to express my opinion and it's making us distant. I've spoken to her but she's not listening To how I feel. She's hurt me. Is my friendship worth fighting for?

When you have a relationship that is lopsided, where one gets to air their opinions, while the other one has to remain silent, no one wins. The other friend could be so stuck in her own world, she can't see what it's doing to you. However, when you try to talk to her about it, she doesn't want to hear you.

If this were me, I would walk away. I don't like being stifled or made to feel stupid when trying to iron out differences with someone.

No. That person is not your friend.

If you feel its worth it then it probably is but first it sounds like you two just need a vacation from the relationship and each other for awhile. Give her time to cool down and maybe send a email wishing her a happy Labor day weekend this Friday and see what happens. No reply isn't good so don't push it by if she replies, take it nice and slow. Of course since this is one sided, I cant tell you this will save your friendship but its worth a try and youll know for sure

.  Good luck
