I wouldn't say it was ok, but it happens to all of us! I've been handicapped for the last couple of years. Usually when I'm down I see someone who is worse off than I am! I have little feelings in my legs and arms and use at least a cane or Walker when I'm out, then I see a guy with no legs,, not that I am glad to see someone with out legs it makes me think how worse off that they are than I!! You feelings are up, yes they will go up and down. But if you just dwell on the down side that is where you will stay! Be Trankfurt for the good things God gave you and move on. I've had 18 different doctors tell it it was over, to get right in life and get ready for the big toaster. Surprise, I'm still here, in tons of pain but it lets me know I am alive! Every morning I wake up and see the ceiling fan above my bed, and I thank the big guy for another day!
No don't be hard on yourself.
From time to time, sure. But it isn't something you want to do full time. Everyone's life has challenges. Are the level of challenges fair? No, but nothing in life is fair. It is up to each person to face their own challenges and learn from them.
