Absolutely.
Yep, I always do, if they want help.
Dear Jan,
The short answer to your Q is YES...
However I was thinking, and maybe there is something which happens more in small towns, close-knit communities; because the way I grew up, everybody just did whatever they could to expedite the flow of life around you.
* * *
So opening doors, lifting something heavy for someone, reaching something for a shorter person, removing an obstacle, fixing something broken...you just did that for everyone around without thinking; and fully abled people might get the benefits as much as handicapped, according to whatever situation...
When it's appropriate.
Yes, always.
Yes, I do.
Yes, as Didge said, when appropriate.
Im the one asking for help the way i walk
When i can and no one get bothered here and there.
Yes, when appropriate and possible, I will do that. I'm a strapping youth, I should help the elderly and enfeebled when possible ;)
I tend to assist whether a person is handicapped or not. It just comes naturally to me to help anyone. But I also go with my gut. If they don't seem to need help I don't bug a person.
I did volunteer and help. They were happy and so am I :)
