Well we had no computers no cell phones back in the 70s so you went over someone's house or called them on home phone and homework was tough, you had to go to library a lot. But we played outside more and. We where more physically fit.

Actually for some teens there's not much difference just that fact that there are now electrical devices like phones, Xbox, HD TVs and all sorts. But what I've realised and as a teen myself is that there is a lot more things that teens know and do that the older generations didn't like getting drunk most weekends at party's, smoking, dressing older than they should, sex, and just going to places with friends that the older generation wouldn't of gone with friends but family. If anything we have it harder as we now have to stay in school longer, get better qualifications to get a good jobs as the standards are going up and we have to pay more for taxes and other bills. Our generation has got a lot more pressure to be perfect and smart that we used to. But otherwise teens now still are equally as fit and healthy, go out, and do all the things the older generation did but just more of a variety.

Two comments about youth in general:

1)  The young are
permanently in a state resembling intoxication.

2)  The
children now love luxury.  They have bad
manners, contempt for authority; they show disrespect for elders and love
chatter in place of exercise.

Aristotle wrote the first.

The second is attributed to Socrates.
