At the end of the day, if this guy is worth having, eye boogers don't matter!
If it mattered .. He's not worth frett'n over.
We guys are usually too busy looking at other things to be worried about gunk in the corners of females' eyes. Sometimes we don't even notice that you have any eyes.
At least it wasn't a nose buggar.
