I tried out for my schools musical. I thought for sure I would get in. I didn't. I always feel like crying & mention of the musical puts me in a bad mood. I tried do stage crew, but I couldn't. I've never been rejected before. What should I do?

Don't quit! Better get used to rejection as everyone faces it sooner or later and many times over a lifetime.  You just need to pick up the pieces and move on here and figure out what you did wrong, fix it and try again and again til you make it if this is your dream, and believe in yourself. Its these rejections that molds us into what we become in life so never quit and find a way no matter how many times it takes and let no one sidetrack you into believing  otherwise here. Good luck and Happy New Year

I know it sucks right now, but you can learn from this. If you keep trying, you'll get something eventually. Maybe you can ask the person who did the casting what you can do to improve. The experience of being rejected is important, because if you just get everything, you'll never have to work for it. Good luck for the future :)

You seem like a talented person, but that's life for you, you can never really get what you want. You can decide to let the rejection build you up or break you down. If this is your first rejection then you haven't lived life. Sometimes, special people aren't acknowledged at the beginning but as time goes on, you improve on yourself, make your flaws perfect and your light will shine. Don't give up, your breakthrough is probably only a step away. As long as you aim at doing what you love, you will succeed and those people who rejected you will regret ever letting go of such graceful talent. Just put your head high and expect greater opportunities to come.
