I have little confidence when talking to new people. I'm at a festival by myself and I really want someone to hang out with but I don't know anyone here. How can I make friends?

I give this advice to everyone. The first step it to visualize how you would be confident and fake it till you make it. I make no promises that everyone will be perfectly approachable but keep trying and I promise it will get so easy it will be natural.
