Is there any point in being friends with an ex?

hey yeah there is depends how long you were together with that ex.....ive stayed friends with most of my ex and we are quite close friends and my boyfriend doesnt mind me being friends with them. As long as you both agree your better of being mates then it should all work out.

sometimes there can be problems when one still has feelings for the other but other than that i see no problem being friends with an ex.

When you have a normal friend feel then yes, but if the other person still wants you then you have to stay apart.

Yes, I'm currently good friends with my ex. It's not awkward at all, we talk about the people we like and everything. He's my best guy friend. It's a good thing to have if you can handle it.
