As much as you love them, if you are unhappy then you should just leave him. It's not worth it being in an unhappy relationship, no matter how much you actually like the guy. I truly believe that the number one important thing in a relationship is how you feel about it. How you feel about a person should be second in importance. That's why for your sake and happiness, you should break up with him. I understand if you still care for him, but you need to put yourself first sometimes.
