There are too many people who are the smartest in their own ways.
Usually my ego wouldn't permit me to answer anyone but myself... But I do make exception for an incredible women I met about a year ago. She studies dolphin linguistics at the local aquarium, and my brain is constantly outstripped trying to catch up with her.
King Solomon, he was the wisest person that ever lived and no one will ever be as wise.
G'day Socrates,
Thank you for your question.
I know so many smart people both in real life and on Blurtit that I couldn't name just one.
Regards

My father's pretty smart. I also know these two people who are freakishly smart and chit chit about molecular biology and politics and a bunch o' "what-if" questions.
I have not met enough people. So far, my brother and I. And my brother's English Teacher. And my mother.
A lot of people... Quentin, Eva, Lucy......
Hi Socrates.By far the smartest person i've ever known, was my father in law.I think he passed some of his knowledge on to his daughter,my wife. She knows every time i tell a lie.She says my lips are moving.
You can't really tell who is smart, everybody are smart in one way or the other. But my definition for smart is " A person who can come out easy in a clever way" loll.
It might surprise you but my children because their ability to catch on to almost anything with little effort & their capacity to learn whatever they put their minds to. And you Socrates have proven yourself very wise & highly intelligent.
Hello. The smartest person I know who I met and who is my best friend is Robin Wan. He's very good at maths and good at every other subject. He always get's top 1% ( best ) in New Zealand in ICAS tests. Thanks.
Truth be known...when I was in high school the U.S. Government gave a test to all the students in my grade level in the U.S. I tested in the top 10% in intelligence and I signed a agreement to allow them to track my life for 10 years. Once a year for 10 years I had to fill out all of this paper work and questions about my personal life. I am sure I was quite a disappointment since I only completed my sophomore year of college. I married and began to have my children and live my life as a wife and Mother. A great achievement in my book since all my children are successful in their careers but the people doing the tracking probably did not see it that way. Ha. My husband is smart. He has his degree in math and physics (double major). He actually is the smartest person I know, unless it is my son.
The smartest person i know? Hm....i guess i couldn't really say anyone cause some people i have know for along time always keep surprising me, but it's usually people who are older than me. They are so nice and are always teaching me so much. I'm starting to even surprised my teachers. I think everyone has things to learn and everyone has much to teach. It all depends on how open minded you are.
I have an IQ of 163, which simply means that there are more than 10,000 people in the UK who are smarter than I am. I know several of them, but probably the smartest guy I ever met was Bob Forward, who really was a rocket scientist! He worked for Hughes Aircraft Company, wrote lots of Science fiction, and invented the Forward Mass Detector.
You mean other then you or me?? I'd have to say my father was the smartest man I ever knew. While he wasn't book smart, he could figure out solutions to most every day problems in just a few minutes. So, my definition of intelligence, is how you use your common sense vs. How much you know.
Well, I know lots of smart people inside and outside Blurtit. But I have to say, my Mathematics teacher Ms. Annelie is very smart. And wise. And patient. Even more patient than my parents [LOL NO OFFENSE MUM AND DAD!!!!] and from my friends, well...I have to say it's a girl named Juwairiya, she was with me since 3rd Grade and we always got the top position/marks in tests and whatsoevers alike. But, unfortunately, she left last year. I still keep in touch with her, though. And from Blurtit, well, there are just so many that I can't name just one here. But of course you're one of them! :D
My husband is one of the smartest people of this earth.
I agree with gvpcachnc :D
My sister and probably me in a few years.
Sorry, I can't go around trying to know the smartest person. My co-worker has this argument with himself all of the time and frankly, I care not to engage.
I am because I know when to keep my mouth shut. I have a size 11 mouth and a size 10 foot so my foot is just the right size to put in my mouth.
Actually each person in this world is smart and intelligent in any particular field in which they have interest.
A friend of mine had a severe traumatic brain injury. He was in a coma for two months. Today he is, by far, the most intelligent person I've known.
