You can be sure he doesn't hate you, for further feelings (like him liking you more than a friend) you can't be sure if he loves you in that way or he just needed to hold someone tight. I don't know how or why but usually you can feel it if he likes you or not, trust your feelings but don't be like yeah I'm the best everyone's in love with me.
