No, teens need to be able to make the choice for themselves, when something is blocked they try very hard to get in.
Yes it should. Because kids these days are really different than when I grew up. They are blaming everything on the parents. If a child see something on television and decide to try it and it hurts some one the law thinks that a parent can watch a child every minute of the day and we can't do it. If parental locks were mandatory that would be one way to contribute to supervision to our children.
Yes it should. It would be an added security blanket for a world that is constantly blaming the parents for every thing our children do. We can not control every thing our children do it's just not possible , but at least with parental locks we can control a small portion of what our kids see on television in our homes. Children are really influenced by things they see on television these days. There were some things we saw on the tube growing up that we dare not think about doing because we just knew but today society makes everything done on the tube the norm now. This is a subject that I can go on and on about but I will just hope this answer is sufficient.
