Ronan Parke, who just turned 13 a couple of days ago, is probably too young to be sure himself whether he is gay or not. There are
claims that his gay appearance was a careful marketing ploy, but at a guess, the truth of that will not be revealed for a long time yet, if ever.
There are, and always will be, a variety of rumors surrounding the behind the scenes practices and goings on at talent shows. Many involve the ways in which youngsters are marketed. This time, it is all about Ronan. If the rumors are true, it remains to be seen how this treatment will affect him in the long run.
In any case, it should not make a blind bit of difference whether he is gay or not. His sexual orientation is his own, personal prerogative and has nothing to do with anyone or anything. His personality should matter, as should his talent. In other words, if he is gay, then so be it. Who cares?
Nobody should, because there is absolutely nothing wrong with being gay. It is as normal as hetero-sexuality, just different. Yes, it is natural. Even animals, in particular giraffes, have been known to be gay.
This irrational, totally unjustified fear, dislike or even hatred of homosexuals or lesbians has made the lives of millions unbearable and should be punished, full stop. It is only by chance that everyone is who or what they are. No-one chooses their sexuality, they are born with it.

The human race is known to persecute those who are different in any way. Race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, some people will use any reason to discriminate against others. Time this idiocy stopped.
