If done at home then yes they can be wrong, mine was, we made minor errors that affected the outcome. I re-did it because I knew better. If it is done at a lab or someplace where it is normally done then they are usually accurate. If you know he is the only one. The best thing to do is take another one. I did and because I filed for child support, I got all my back pay. They (he and his new skank) were pissed but, I was elated. Go on a court show or Maury that way it is free. But sometimes that little money is worth it and you get it right back when he starts paying you. If you don't have the money, piss him off enough with telling him and everyone that it is his son amd he will probably sue you for paternity and he will have to pay.
If what you say is true, it means that he pulled a fast one.

I don't know much about paternity tests, but I know that they use mouth swabs for tracing your genes all the way back to Africa - it's pretty cool.
